At The MVP Insurance Agency, we can provide insurance coverage for your Snowmobile Riders in 30+ States. If you own snowmobiles, you need to make sure that you have the right coverage in case of an accident or loss. While some homeowners insurance policies may cover certain liabilities, in most cases riders need an additional Snowmobile policy to give them the complete coverage they need.

Snowmobile Policies Include:

  • Policy automatically meets a state's minimum coverage requirements. If you ride beyond our Northern Border, your coverage may extends into Canada.

  • Snowmobiles are written on the motorcycle contract to lock in generous discounts and coverages (riding appareal and original parts) right into the policy.

  • Custom Parts Equipment: $3,000 in coverage for custom snowmobile parts and equipment such as safety apparel, skid plates, hand protectors or electronics are automatically included. Limits up to $20,000 are also available.

  • OEM Parts Coverage: If something happens to your snowmobile, you want to be sure the repairs are done right. Policies automatically includes use of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts during repairs.

  • Gear Replacement at No Extra Cost: We appreciate that you're serious about snowmobiling safety. To reward you, Safeco provides up to $1,000 per person, per incident to replace your helmet, snow boots, goggles, gloves, and other protective gear lost or damaged in an accident. All at no extra cost and with no deductible. This is also included with liability-only policies and is something only Safeco Insurance offers.

Protection For Your Sled:

  • Comprehensive Coverage: Comprehensive coverage helps pay for repairs or replacement if your snowmobile is stolen, vandalized, or damaged in some way other than a collision. This coverage also protects you against loss or damage from flooding, fire, falling objects, wind, and collision with an animal.

  • Collision Coverage: This coverage helps pay for repairs to your snowmobile for damage caused by an accident regardless of who is at fault. So you’re covered if your snowmobile is hit by or collides with another object.

Other Important Coverage:

  • Medical Payments: No matter who is at fault, coverage is available to pay hospital bills and other medical care expenses for you and any passenger injured in an accident.

  • Bodily Injury Liability: This helps pay for hospital bills, medical expenses, and other costs related to an accident you are responsible for that injures someone other than a guest passenger. This coverage is the amount available to other people in the event of an injury. Since even relatively minor snowmobiling accidents can incur significant medical costs, having enough bodily injury liability is important for your protection. Talk with a Safeco agent to assess your risk.

  • Guest Passenger Liability: Specifically covers medical expenses for a guest passenger riding with you on your snowmobile. This does not include your spouse, or other household family members, who are already protected under your medical coverage. Though this coverage is optional, it's highly recommended if you like taking friends out for rides.

  • Property Damage Liability: This helps pay for repairs to someone else's snowmobile, vehicle, or personal property if you're responsible for an accident.

  • Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist (UM/UIM) Coverage: What happens if you're hit and injured by another vehicle and that vehicle does not carry enough coverage? Uninsured motorist (UM) and underinsured motorist (UIM) coverage provide the protection you need. While your health insurance may pay medical bills, UM/UIM coverage will pay your medical deductible, lost wages, pain and suffering, scarring, permanent impairment, and other care you need that isn't covered by your health insurance
